On the occassion of Hanne Darboven's exhibition at the Menil Drawing Institute in Houston, Curator Kelly Montana joins Rail Editor-at-Large Raphael Rubinstein for a conversation. Kelly Montana is the Assistant Curator, Menil Drawing Institute, Houston. Recently curated projects include Hanne Darboven – Writing Time; Si Lewen: The Parade; Brice Marden: Think of Them As Spaces; and Dream Monuments: Drawing in the 1960s and 1970s (co-curated with Erica DiBenedetto). Additionally, she has curated site-specific commissions with Marc Bauer and Marcia Kure as part of the Menil’s Wall Drawing Series.
