For over 15 years, Bartana’s work has examined the convergence of individual and society, of national identity, and of the political and religious identity of Israel. Published on the occasion of her self-titled exhibition at Kunstverein Hamburg, June 9 – September 3, 2006, this book brings together a detailed presentation of the artist’s works, including a complete videography.
