The exhibition, and catalogue, takes as its starting point Stephen Prina's birthplace of Galesburg, a small town in the Midwest. The town is portrayed indirectly, through objects such as books, cabinets, memorabilia and photographs, and through references ranging from Abraham Lincoln to John Cage.
